It is still way to Warm in the Desert!

So I am writing this post a little upset at our really warm weather! Yesterday was 86 and today I do not even know because I refuse to look at the temperature. It is Dec. 1st for crying out loud! That means we should be having cooler weather and hot chocolate and fires and the fire place....right? Well I guess if I was living in a place where it snowed all the time I would be upset about that! So in all of this I realize that I need to count my many blessings and know that it could be worse...and it will in June when its 120! Haha I feel better now and have changed my main picture because it represents Christmas in the Desert with Palm Trees and warmish weather. Hope all of you are having a blessed Holiday and enjoying your cold weather!!

Our Family Time In Oak Glen!

These pictures were taken at Los Rios Ranch in Oak Glen. We went the day before Josh left. It was a beautiful day! Honestly it was so beautiful that 90% of the Coachella Valley was there! We picked apples, pumpkins and just enjoyed our time together. Here are a few pictures of our afternoon... :-)

My Birthday!....Yes this is a little late! :-)

Sorry I am behind on this post....but I have no excuse! It was just me being lazy and not wanting to go through the 389 emails that I have to find the one that Jana sent to me (thanks Jana for sending it though!) But even though they are late I really wanted to share them and thank my friends for such a great evening! Loved all the food and the laughs!! Even if it was my 29th....I really only feel like I'm 26, thats all that matters....right?! Well here are a couple of pictures from the evening....Love you ladies!!

Our Vacation!!!!

Well here is our vacation....it was great! We started out in Parker/Havasu Az. and ended in Las Vegas visiting family. We had no schedule and did not even plan the last part of the vaction! It was so nice! I am pretty sure that God purposely took away my cell signal, so that I would just "RELAX". My Dad has a boat so the kids had a blast jumping in the water...swimming...fishing...and just being kids! Then when we got to Las Vegas we saw Josh's Cousins and our cute little nephew, Trevin. He is just adorable!!! Here are a few pictures of the trip. Now it is back to school time so our house is a busy little house tonight preparing for the "big day" tomorrow.

Our Couple of Days in the Desert....Oh Ya! We Live in the Desert!!

This is our stay at Marriott here in town. Yes we do live in the desert but when you get used to this insanely hot weather you do not need to travel elsewhere for fear of getting cold!! LOL :) No really we got a complimentary 2 night stay and we had some fun! The kiddos stayed the first night with me and the the second night they went home and our good friend Bethany was a trooper and stayed with them. So yes that means we got a night with just the 2 of us! We went and enjoyed a yummy dinner at a Japanese steakhouse and then watched the opening of the Olympics. The pool was amazing...perfect temp and the weather a bit muggy was still pretty decent. Well that's not what the tourists were saying! Haha!

Room Service at 11:00pm...what a treat! I surprised the kids and they could not believe they would bring cookies and milk to our room!! I reminded them not to get use to it!! LOL

Ok..so Pres did not get to enjoy the midnight snack...he was out!
But hey! Its breakfast time and I decided rather then take 3 kids to a restaurant at 7:00am it was easier to have it come to us! I think in the morning I am going to have a hard time adjusting back to breakfast! Lucky Charms here we come!!

Disneyland!!

This is Peyson in the Jedi Training Accadamy in Tomorrow Land. He wanted to do this so bad that he waited with his Grandma for 45 min. before the show started just to be one of the kids on the front row in hopes to be picked. He was the last child picked and I have to admit that my heart was racing because I wanted this so much for him!

During the show after all the kids had completed the training these two Storm Troopers came out and the excitment started!

Peyson got to go up on stage against Darth Vader and he did such a great job! The guy in the brown behind him said to Peyson as he was finnished (the force is with you my son)! I felt like such a pround mommy!

This is his graduation and look how proud he is! I am so happy he got to do this!

During the parade we got to watch it in a reserved section that was shaded and no one else could be in it...thanks to Josh's cousin Lonnie and his Uncle Kevin! We had such a fun time and we are already anxious for next time!
